FAQ
- Why do photos take a moment to save? Every shot is a 48MP RAW developed on your phone. The shutter is ready again right away; the finished photo lands in your library a few seconds later.
- Why 3:2 with black bars in the viewfinder? That's the 28mm-equivalent 3:2 frame of a classic compact film camera — the white framelines show exactly what gets captured.
- Where are my photos? In the Photos app, full quality, ready to share. ilumen keeps nothing and sends nothing — it has no account, no network, no tracking.
- Which iPhones work best? Any iPhone on iOS 17+. Full 48MP RAW capture uses Apple ProRAW, available on the Pro models — iPhone 14 Pro and later. On other iPhones (including base models with a 48MP sensor), ilumen automatically shoots 12MP RAW instead; the film development pipeline is identical.
